according to mainstream media sources such as the new York daily news, an apology from actor Kiefer Sutherland may be enough to keep him out of any criminal trouble. Well, at least untill the next time, I suppose. Furthermore, the publicity seems to be to be assisting his acting career. In the wake of his apology, Los Angeles-based film director Joel
Schumacher has clearly made up his mind to let Kiefer stay on. According to the ‘New York Daily News’, an insider let it be known that that the talented but often troubled actor (relatively speaking, of course, as we are all troubled in one way or another) is very glad to have kept his job and that he now wants to stay out of trouble for good. The timing of this is probably no accident and his lawyer was apparently a big help in brokering a deal.

In addition, the victim in question probably appreciates whatever private deal he has made with the star, which will most likely result in the charges being dropped when they go to court on June 22. He probably has one of the better criminal defense attorney available, but I am sure he does not want to go into a lengthy trial.

For his part, he knows the film is not a crucial component of his career like his hit TV show is, but having to broker a settlement to keep from violating his probation on a Drunk driving offense is a major distraction. Will it be rehab time soon? The clock is ticking.

By the way if you are in the Los Angeles area and require an excellent Los Angeles criminal defense attorney then might I humbly recommend Ramiro Luis. He is simply one of the very best criminal defense attorney you can find in Los Angeles or all of southern California, in my personal opinion. Alright now back to the story at hand:

All in all, Kiefer has had a bumpy personal life at times. He married Kelly Win in 1996 but they separated several years later. He filed for divorce in 2004 and it was finalised in 2008.

The actor is often associated with the Los Angeles “brat packer” crew of Rob Lowe, Sean Penn, Emelio Estevez, Demi Moore and Charlie Sheen. In addition to his successful television career he has been involved in a number of hit films such as ‘Young Guns’ co-starring Charlie Sheen and Christian Slater and ‘A few Good Men’ co-starring Tom Cruise, kevin Bacon and Jack Nicholson.
